Chad Rogers was born in Chandler, Arizona. While his older brothers were out riding dirt bikes and quads, young Chad was organizing his action figure sets into elaborate plots of espionage and writing small stories to which he would record an audiobook the reader could follow along with. The recordings on his Fisher-Price tape recorder were complete with often heard “You can know it is time to turn the page when you hear the beep.”
As Chad got older, he continued to consume stories in many forms; movies, novels, and especially comic books. But he stopped attempting to write his own to join his brothers and friends in outdoor activities and sports. It wasn’t until an “easy A” college course in writing fiction that his love for creating stories returned in full force. There, with the help of an amazing teacher, he began to feel the pull again.
The urge to write would not go away, and now while Chad is out hiking or on his mountain bike he will suddenly shout “Go ahead!” to everyone as he pulls off to the side of the trail and writes down a new plot or character idea.
Chad loves science fiction and political thrillers. He hopes to combine the two into exciting adventures of hopeful thoughts and moral decisions in Earth’s future.
